Welcome to CHAi Platform
"CHAi is the idea that "we" should take control of our narratives, and naturally, provide a platform for 'our' growth through a constant nourishment of disruptive ideas and strides, that are altering perceptions of what achievement or success should be. As a forward looking entity, CHAi is aware of the need to strengthen cultural (and African) identity for posterity, and as such it will adopt a few practices of the old and fuse them with a few modern practices in order to appreciate the evolution of our identity."
More about CHAi
CHAi is the indigenous term for tea, but in a unique way, it morphs into an acronym - Chanua.Hamisisha/Hamsha.Anzisha.Ibua. Chanua means to gather, Hamisisha means to inspire/Hamsha means to awaken, Anzisha means to (help) start up, and Ibua means to bring up/to help emerge/to germinate.
Above and beyond, our aim is to shine a spotlight on young people killing it, profiling them, celebrating their gifts(stories) and creating an ecosystem where they can get support to advance their ambitions and aspirations, all the while being cognizant of the social fabric that binds us: culture.
